Chapter 1 The unforgettable beginning It all began with a normal day when I decided to include armwrestling in my daily routine. I had no idea what the sport other than that it was about strength in your arms, and the challenge of competing against other athletes. However, it didn’t matter!
My first workout was a slugfest. I was competing against adversaries who had no mercy and each loss was more wounds than the previous. There were times that I was worried that I’d be a failure but the goal was always right in front of me as a wall I needed to get past.
Then came the day that I decided to participate in a major tournament. I wasn’t prepared in the least however I was determined on participating in the game regardless of the doubts that lingered in my head. I was certain that winning this match could transform my life.

On the day of the event the atmosphere was electric. The participants from all over the globe gathered together in a row, each with their own personal story and vision. There was a silence before the game was announced. I was anxious and the beat of my body was beating as were my hands shaking.
I walked over to the table of armwrestling the opponent I faced was huge and experienced with many years of experience. All the spectators were silent. My sweat was running down my forehead, but I made a an important decision: I wouldn’t let this man beat me. The game began…

Do you think this was not the most important obstacle? The most important thing was to stay at the top. Now, as I type this, I recognize that success isn’t an endpoint, but rather an ongoing process. There are always better competitors and always someone attempting to be able to compete with you. But I’m now aware that the road wasn’t simple and it isn’t going to ever be!
